This is the first course in the Gifted Endorsement.
This is an online course; however, there is one mandatory F2F session on July 25 from 4:30 - 6:30 at Okefenokee RESA.
There is a required text for the course. Candidates are responsible for purchasing the text prior to the first day of class.
Winebrenner, S. (2018). Teaching Gifted Kids in Today's Classroom: Strategies and Techniques Every Teacher Can Use (4th Edition).
Candidates should complete an application packet for the Gifted Endorsement prior to registering for the course. You will not be accepted into the course until you have been accepted into the endorsement.
Note: A limited number of full-tuition scholarships for the Gifted Endorsement courses are available. The scholarship covers tuition but does not cover the cost of books. Candidates are responsible for purchasing their own book for the course.
