1. Many schools have solid argumentative writing units in place. How about augmenting the existing unit(s) with strategies to empower students even more?
This session includes discussions and examples of models, co-construction, "live" monitoring of writing, feedback protocol, the -ing bomb, introduction framework for paired-passage writing, five-part counterargument strategy, and more.
2. Participants need a laptop or other device.
