Course Description More Details
1. Talking is a natural way for learners to process information, share ideas, and contribute to the lesson. This interactive session begins with discussions about engagement and management, then segues to specific ideas for--and practice of--partner talk (through text coding and more), group talk (in poetry analysis and more), whole-class talk (contributing to co-construction of brush strokes and more). If time allows, we will discuss conferences (reading, writing, or other) and "silent" sharing.
