Course Description More Details
Participants will be introduced to STEM/STEAM pedagogy and consider its application in their teaching practice. Participants will gain an understanding of the GaDOE STEM/STEAM certification process and use the STEM/STEAM continuum as a self-evaluation tool of their teaching craft. Lastly, participants will use an iterative process to engineer a solution to a problem.
Dr. Kim Boucher, STEM/STEAM Program Specialist, GaDOE, will be leading the class.
