Join Okefenokee RESA, Nancy Balaun, and Jennifer Zoumberis from the GaDOE Social Studies team for an EPIC day of K-5 Social Studies professional learning.  This day will be filled with hands-on learning where we’ll talk about AND demonstrate best practices for using maps with the students in your classroom and so much more! Join us as we learn how to maximize student engagement as we go BEYOND the standards to learn INNOVATIVE ways to use maps in your classroom.
*Each school represented will leave with a set of the maps used in the workshop: (10) raised
relief maps, (10) early childhood maps, (10) Georgia maps, and (10) elementary maps.

*This session will work best with a school partner. Grab a colleague and join us!
